The 10x10 Short Play Festival is a celebration of local talent both onstage and off and we are excited to be staging the eleventh annual event this year! This season's showcase will take place on June 7th and 8th, 2024.
We are excited to announce our top 10 plays for the 10x10 2024 Festival!
Congratulations to our 10 playwrights whose works were selected. Thank you to our jurors for taking the time to read and review every single entry and to everyone who submitted a script. The quality of entries was exceptional across the board making the jobs of the jurors very difficult.

10x10 2024 Audition Information
Auditions are taking place on Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st from 10AM to 2PM at Magnus Theatre.

Requirements for Auditioning:
Please prepare a 2–3-minute monologue of your choosing. A selection of monologues, and a basic breakdown of the roles available this year, can be found below.
If you still want to audition and are not available over the 20th and 21st, we will also be accepting self-tapes. Self-tapes will only be accepted for those who are unavailable to attend in person.
Self-Tape Guidance:
- Please ensure that you record your tape in a location where you are easily able to be seen and heard
- Set up your device so your face and shoulders can clearly be seen at eye level
- Introduce yourself. You need to say your name, your pronouns and tell us the monologue you have chosen.
- Your total video length should not exceed 5 minutes.
- You can edit your Self-Tape, but editing will not affect your audition
- Email your Self-Tape to [email protected] by 2PM on April 19th.
