Through hands-on activities, participants will develop characters, build worlds, and shape compelling narratives — all while learning how to collaborate and make creative choices in a room full of ideas.
The term wraps up with a showcase of original scenes and stories, created and performed by participants for friends and family.
Spring Term: The Odyssey – Thunder Bay

Session time: Wednesdays, 7—9pm
What does it mean to find your way home — and what if home has changed while you were gone?
This year, The Actor’s Studio invites you to take part in a bold, collaborative theatre-making journey: a reimagining of Homer’s The Odyssey, set right here in Thunder Bay.
Participants will work together to create an original, devised stage production inspired by Odysseus’s epic return — blending myth, memory, and local stories into a performance that explores what it means to leave, return, and belong. Along the way, we’ll draw from improvisation, storytelling, character-building, and ensemble work to shape a one-of-a-kind piece of theatre that reflects our community’s voice.
